Responsibilities will include conducting psychiatric and external assessments, contributing to patient care plans, and maintaining effective communication with external professionals and families.Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Consultant Psychiatrist in assessing and reviewing patients referred to the service.
2. Deliver high-quality medical care to inpatients, ensuring their well-being and recovery progress.
3. Prepare and present written/oral evidence for Tribunal and Hospital Managers' hearings.
4. Support safe discharge planning by preparing necessary reports and documentation.
5. Participate in the on-call rota alongside other Consultant Psychiatrists.
