If you want to be part of a company where you can make a significant impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you In this role, you will collaborate closely with larger clients to prepare their statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax computations. Our company caters to a diverse range of clients, including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, trusts, and charities. The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar position, specifically working with SMEs and owner-managed companies and more group structures. Ideally they should also be social and personable. The important work you will be doing: Preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts and tax computations Meeting with clients to discuss and advise on their business and financial affairs Initial review of statutory accounts, tax returns, management accounts and VAT returns with clients in a variety of sectors Prioritising workload effectively to meet set deadlines and budgets Working with varying software packages including CCH, Sage, and Xero The skills and experience you will bring: ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified or qualified by experience, with a minimum of 2 years practice experience Experience with limited companies annual accounts and management accounts Experience with CCH accounts production and corporation tax is desirable but not necessary Good understanding and knowledge of relevant accounting standards Strong prioritisation and organisational skills along with attention to detail Clear and concise written and verbal communication across all business levels Robust IT skills including Excel, and any ERP systems experience (such as Sage, Xero and QuickBooks etc) Why PKF Smith Cooper?
