Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Sales Advisor to join our small, friendly, family-run business. As specialists in environmental sensors and people counters, we design, build, and sell innovative monitoring solutions for both indoor and outdoor applications. Our clients include environmental agencies, parks, and councils worldwide, all relying on our expertise.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service. You will proactively seek out and engage with customers, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions to help them achieve their goals. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for sales. Prior experience working with environmental agencies, councils, or similar organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities
1. Identify potential customers through networking, events, media postings.
2. Engage with customers to identify their needs and provide suitable product recommendations.
3. Negotiate terms of sale and close deals effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
4. Maintain an organised sales pipeline and manage time efficiently to meet sales targets.
5. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
6. Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for increasing sales and enhancing customer experience.
7. Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to better serve customers.
8. Utilise IT systems for tracking sales activities and maintaining customer records.
Preferred Skills
1. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers.
2. Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable relationships while ensuring customer satisfaction.
3. Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
4. Experience or open to using AI and other emerging tools to increase efficiency and productivity.
5. Time management abilities to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
6. A solid background in customer service to foster positive relationships with clients or a desire to try!
7. Proficiency in IT systems relevant to sales processes, including CRM software.
8. A driven attitude towards achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the team.
This is a role contracted for 1 year with the possibility to extend this.
