Job Description
Boasting some of the world’s most complex risks within its portfolio, there is surely no better place for an ambitious Senior Property Risk Engineer / Surveyor to ply their trade than this global broking house.
This is a home-based role with UK-wide travel (and potentially internationally, if desired), where you will work with a diverse range of blue-chip clients across a variety of industry sectors. You will be providing risk consultancy to existing clients, supporting their needs for Risk Control services.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the broking process and manage the relationship with clients and insurers.
2. Undertake site audits and surveys.
3. Produce reports on site risks and existing control measures.
4. Make risk recommendations and review those provided by insurers and third parties.
5. Account manage the largest clients from a Risk Control perspective.
Qualifications:
1. Solid background in Property risk, pertaining to large/corporate clients.
2. Risk Management/Insurance qualifications are preferred.
3. Leadership on technical matters and excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to manage relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
A major selling point of this opportunity is that you will benefit from a high level of autonomy to manage your own diary. The proactive nature of the role (as opposed to being heavily reactive) could certainly appeal to Loss Adjusters who would like to make the transition into a 'less hectic’ Risk Engineer role.
Working for what is arguably the most prestigious insurance broker in the world, you will benefit from a myriad of career-development opportunities spanning many different business areas. In return, you will receive a generous basic salary, and a comprehensive flexible benefits package that can be tweaked to your own personal circumstances.
