About the role
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Multi-Site Management:
2. Demonstrate strong leadership experience in multi-site delivery at the senior manager level.
3. Oversee high-quality assurance processes, ensuring health and safety monitoring systems meet external validation standards, including CQC and local authority monitoring.
4. Conduct regular checks to maintain high standards in services, supporting teams in response to any actions or subsequent action plans.
5. Operational Management:
6. Efficiently manage services in accordance with legislation, procedures, policies, and the Statement of Purpose.
7. Drive new service developments, change management, and business development.
8. Maintain active oversight of service provision to ensure the highest standards of support are delivered.
9. Lead Home Managers in a directive and supportive role to achieve and maintain maximum occupancy.
10. Demonstrate an ongoing visible presence within the services in your designated geographical area to ensure workforce planning, ensuring Care Standards are met, compliance with all statutory and regulatory agencies, attend CQC Inspections where possible, and complete quality audits when required.
11. Strategic Planning and Development:
12. Contribute to the organisation's strategic plan objectives, leading growth plans and enhancing London Paramount Care’s regional presence.
13. Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team in formulating and implementing business plans within allocated services.
14. Stakeholder Engagement:
15. Establish and build connections with local authorities.
16. Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication.
17. Demonstrate a clear understanding of significant budget management and be responsible for the finances of your remit; inputting, agreeing, and reviewing annual budgets.
18. Ensure the services operate within budgetary constraints and contribute to annual and monthly budget planning.
19. Staff Management and Development:
20. Play a pivotal role in staff recruitment and retention, adhering to safer recruitment principles and promoting Equal Opportunities.
21. Recommend new recruitment strategies that promote positive actions to highlight the strengths of the home and creatively resolve any weaknesses to optimise workforce number and skill.
22. Effectively induct new Managers ensuring handovers are managed to optimum service delivery and compliance.
23. Drive efficient and effective forward workforce planning to ensure staff are appropriately recruited, inducted, and retained.
24. Ensure thorough induction and probation reviews for new staff in accordance with London Paramount Care's safer recruitment policy.
25. Conduct regular formal supervision and appraisal for direct reports, ensuring accountability within services, maintaining a comprehensive staff training and development program.
26. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to Registered Managers for effective service delivery.
27. Ensure the changing requirements of the Regulatory Inspectorate are understood and implemented by all reports including registered managers, who will also actively comply with all company policies and procedures.
28. Address conduct and competence issues and promote personal and professional growth.
29. Actively participate in the annual review of the job description and consult on any necessary changes.
30. Safeguarding and Compliance:
31. Ensure adherence to the Safeguarding Policy at all times.
32. Promptly and without any undue delay report and follow up on any safeguarding concerns.
33. Conduct fact-finding investigations for safeguarding allegations.
34. Promote and support individual rights, providing care free from oppression where differences are respected and valued.
35. Ensure that safe working practices are employed by all staff at all times in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work legislation.
36. Co-operate with designated personnel exercising their responsibilities in relation to the Health and Safety at Work Act.
37. Collaboration and Teamwork:
38. Collaborate with other London Paramount Care Ltd Managers and support staff to ensure cohesive work towards meeting the needs of adults within our services.
39. Work effectively in partnership with Placing Authorities and the Local Authority.
40. Work proactively and in close partnership with Quality and Governance Leads to continuously improve service delivery.
41. Ensure that all reporting is compliant with London Paramount Care and regulatory standards and deadlines: attend meetings as part of the Senior Management Team presenting your report analysis, development, and quality structures throughout your region.
42. Undertake other duties as may be required by the Operations Director, Chief Executive or Board of Directors.

44. Lead on ensuring services and operations have equality, diversity, and inclusion embedded. Design and audit the home recruitment methods, identifying strengths and areas to develop.
Person Specification:
1. Education & Qualifications:
2. Level 4 or 5 in “Leadership and Management” or equivalent management qualification.
3. Knowledge & Experience:
4. Significant experience in supporting people with learning disabilities and associated conditions.
5. Solid up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the Care sector and the regulatory framework to include CQC regulations including registration requirements.
6. Possess strong leadership experience.
7. Demonstrated experience in multi-site delivery and operational management.
8. Able to demonstrate turnaround commercial experience within a range of services and their outcomes.
9. Skills & Abilities:
10. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
11. Proven IT experience, including Word and Excel.
12. Proficient in digital systems and organisational management.
13. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
