Job Title: Cover Supervisor (Secondary Schools) Location: Fleet, Hampshire Start Date: October 2024 Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time About the Role: Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and committed Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Fleet, starting from September 2024. This role offers both full-time and part-time positions, depending on your availability. As a Cover Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include delivering pre-prepared lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will manage classroom behaviour, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure that lessons run smoothly in the absence of the regular teacher. This position is well-suited for graduates, unqualified teachers, and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) looking to gain valuable experience in an educational setting. Key Responsibilities: Deliver pre-planned lessons to students in various subjects and year groups. Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning atmosphere. Provide support to students during lessons and maintain school behaviour policies. Assist with additional classroom duties as needed. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Flexibility to teach across different subjects and year groups. Previous experience in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
