As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create an environment where students feel safe and encouraged to thrive. Your support will be essential in guiding students through their educational journey.
Responsibilities of Behaviour Support Worker:
1. Provide targeted support to students with behavioural difficulties, fostering a nurturing and understanding environment.

3. Assist in classroom management, helping teachers maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
4. Monitor and document student progress, offering feedback to teachers and contributing to behaviour management plans.

6. Stay informed about the latest behavioural support practices and engage in professional development opportunities.
Qualities for Behaviour Support Worker:
1. Experience working with children or young people with behavioural challenges; prior experience as a Behaviour Support Worker in an educational setting is preferred.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships with students and staff.
3. A patient, empathetic approach to supporting students in overcoming their behavioural obstacles.

To Work with GSL Education as a Behaviour Support Worker, You Need:
1. Have the right to work in the UK.
2. An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years.
3. An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
