Job Title:Care Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
* Personal Care:Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Mobility Support:Help clients with mobility, including moving and transferring them safely.
* Medication Assistance:Support clients with medication administration in accordance with their care plan and the organization's policies.
* Meal Preparation:Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met.
* Household Tasks:Assist with light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and tidy environment.
* Companionship:Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging them in activities and conversation.
* Care Planning:Follow and contribute to the development of individual care plans, ensuring the needs and preferences of clients are met.
* Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including daily logs, incident reports, and medication records.
* Communication:Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
* Health Monitoring:Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience in a care or support role is preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Compassionate and patient demeanour.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
