Main Duties of the Team Manager:
* Through leadership and management, promote and govern excellent practice to deliver high quality outcomes for children and families within Family Early Help.
* Ensuring accountability for high professional standards, which comply with procedures, agreed timescales and targets.
* Ensuring the welfare and safety of children and young people and their families remains a priority and promote positive citizenship.
* Responsible for management of the team, overseeing workload and performance management, developing excellent practitioners.
Requirements of the Team Manager:
* Degree or equivalent in social work.
* Current Social Work England registration.
* Recent managerial experience, working as a TM, DTM or ATM.
* Significant frontline experience in Children’s Services working as a Team Manager.
* Must be able to provide evidence of continuing professional development.
* Knowledge of guidance and best practice in work with 0–19 year olds and their families in respect of early intervention, youth justice, relevant childcare and education legislation, and the London Child Protection Procedures.
