Positions available at The Royal Oldham Hospital, Rochdale Infirmary, Fairfield General Hospital and Whitney Court plus home working.
All working hours and working patterns will be considered, full-time and part-time hours available.
Main duties of the job
As a Medical Secretary your main duties will cover:
Medical audio transcription of clinical correspondence;
Carry out administrative instructions dictated in the correspondence including booking appointments via the Booking and Scheduling Department;
Update NPSA16 investigation tracker following transcription of correspondence;
Deal with internal and external telephone enquiries from patients, staff and external agencies;
Undertake routine office duties including printing, scanning and filing;
Organising your workload to meet our KPI's.

1. Word processing - Qualified to RSA III/NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification/demonstrable skills (60+ wpm at 98% accuracy

3. ECDL or equivalent qualification
4. City and Guilds Certificate in Medical Terminology, or equivalent demonstrable skills/experience
