Job summary NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership - Specialist Estates Services (NWSSP-SES) is an organisation committed to championing patient centred sustainable healthcare environments. This opportunity has arisen within the organisation's Property function which provides a broad range of property support through a team of chartered property surveyors. Property Surveyor (Primary Care) Cardiff based £46,840 to £53,601 pa We are looking for a general practice Chartered Surveyor to provide property support and advice on the primary care estate to Health Boards in Wales. You will advise Health Boards on the reimbursement of rent to GP practices, assist in the improvement of GP premises, support the development of new primary care schemes and provide advice on wider property management issues relating to the primary care estate. To fulfil this role you will be a Chartered Surveyor with detailed knowledge and experience of valuations, rent reviews, property development processes, land transactions and lease management. A full-time appointment is preferable but part-time working may be possible. We currently operate a hybrid agile model of working. Main duties of the job To provide expert estates and property advice, guidance and support to Health Boards in Wales and Welsh Government across a range of property services. To act as a specialist adviser to the Health Boards in Wales on primary care property and estates matters. The Property Surveyor will principally undertake inspections, rental valuations, rent reviews and related lease advice focussed upon GP rental reimbursement in the Primary Care estate. The post holder will be part of team which acts as central source of property expertise for NHS Wales organisations and Welsh Government.
