YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain and develop relationships within existing customer base as well as establishing relationships with new customers above and beyond current base
• Identify new business opportunities for AVL, including new industries
• Quotation development
• Key Account Management – responsible for developing extended relationships within key accounts and monitoring delivery of projects
YOUR PROFILE:
Essential:
• Degree-level technical education
• Previous experience of engineering projects in the automotive industry and in electrification topics or related topics regarding decarbonisation
• Highly customer-focused and able to solve customer-related concerns to mutual satisfaction
• Ability to independently scope out and calculate project requirements with input from technical teams and senior management
• Ability to prepare project proposals, present to customer and conduct follow-up negotiations
• Appreciation of future challenges faced by customers and ability to identify how AVL can support customers to solve such challenges
• Planning, prioritising and co-ordinating workload with minimal guidance
• Willingness to travel and a flexible and adaptable nature
• Excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues
• Excellent inter-personal skills
• Excellent written English
Preferable:
• Previous experience of engineering projects outside of the automotive industry
• Previous experience of working in a consultancy environment with multiple customers
• An understanding of AVL’s existing market presence and market presence both locally and globally
• Experience with sales tools and software, for example Foreign language skills to assist with internal/external networking

Annual Remuneration: Due to UKVI compliance requirements, we are obligated to state the annual gross salary (full-time) for this position. The salary range is between £50,000 - £70,000 and we will offer market-conforming remuneration taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
