The Account Manager will be responsible for the operational delivery and growth of developing our existing partners. The role holder will acquire, develop, and manage partner accounts, seeking opportunities to maximise our current offerings, achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth. You will serve as a liaison between the organization and clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing tech solutions to drive their success.
Responsibilities:
* Develop strategic relationships with our developing account partners, negotiating and maximizing opportunities by demonstrating strong understanding of their business.
* Provide complex, high value quotations for multi vendor technologies and maximise opportunities.
* Demonstrate full ownership of account management adhering to agreed SLA’s inline with internal process and procedures.
* Understand partners’ business objectives, challenges, and technology needs.
* Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on tech solutions to meet client requirements.
* Build and maintain strong relationships through regular formal and informal meetings.
* Work with key vendors to deliver bespoke hardware, software and services that meet our partners needs.
* Conduct account mapping exercises to assess opportunities whilst maintaining regular notes via the company CRM system and develop account plans for complex accounts.
* Work collaboratively, sharing best practice with the wider account team.
Skills Required:
* An experienced proactive account manager who is proficient in generating new revenue opportunities and introducing new services and products to existing customers.
* Strong Knowledge of IT industry preferably having worked in the IT Channel previously.
* Account management experience, within in a highly commercial environment, preferably within IT sector.
* Experienced and skilled negotiator, able to influence at the most senior level.
* Proven ability in strategic thinking and planning.
* Ability to track, monitor, and report on sales activities using Internal software/CRM.
* Strong IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to work well as part of a team and the ability on your own to work using initiative to problem solve.
