An opportunity has become available with one of our long-term clients for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a full-time basis for a minimum of 12 months to cover maternity leave.
The client are a successful plant and machinery provider for both sales and hire. With strong history in Aberdeen providing services across Scotland, the client offer sales, delivery and ongoing servicing of their products. After recently expanding into providing electric options as well as traditional fuel powered machinery, the client is expecting further growth in 2024.
The Candidate:
The Accounts Assistant will have previous general accounting experience in a similar role as well as experience of credit control. The client are looking for someone who is comfortable in a small team, meaning the role will be very diverse as you will be involved in many aspects of the finance department such as :
* Credit Control
* Bank Reconciliation
* Producing Sales Invoices
* Producing Purchase Invoices
* Issuing Refunds
* Sales and Purchase Ledger
* Assisting with Month End Preparation
Working Hours: 9am – 5pm, Mon – Fri
Salary: Up to £29,000
