Job Description
We're seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Tax Compliance Team in Newcastle, which is responsible for providing tax compliance services for a wide range of business clients.

This role can be based out of either our Newcastle or Manchester offices, which are both city centre based.
This growing and developing team will offer plenty of progression opportunities and flexibility for part-time if required.
As Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Compliance-focused work ensuring procedures and processes are followed, taking account of institute and HMRC guidance.
* Ensuring department billing and recovery targets are met.
* Staff management and development, including appraisals and monitoring staff performance.
* Training and mentoring junior staff.
* Providing exceptional client service and maintaining regular contact with the client team.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Significant corporate tax experience gained within the professional services environment.
* Demonstrable technical compliance skills.
* Demonstrable experience of managing people.
Qualifications
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) or international equivalent.
