Develop an extensive network of contacts within the retail logistics industry and keep up to date with their latest developments which may provide opportunities for Rhenus. Deliver high quality, professional sales presentations to Customers and ensure that all internal stakeholders are engaged and brought into the sales process. Work with the Solutions Design team to develop competitive commercial pricing proposals for submission to the Customer. Manage initial commercial contract negotiations with the Customer and obtain LOI and/or contract signing for handover to the Account Management team. Work with and support the Marketing team with all Marketing initiatives following the Brand guidelines. Support the end-to-end Project Lifecycle Process from contract signing through to implementation. Delivering your part of the Company’s annual new business target for the Warehousing & Fulfilment offering; Securing the targeted amount of new business revenue and level of profitability Maintain a historically high conversion ratio of the Company by focussing effort on right fit opportunities. Prospecting and Engaging with Customers of the ‘ideal’ profile and meet face to face to present the Company’s offer. Making highly professional presentations at Director level to Customer prospects and convert into new Customer business wins. Working collaboratively with the Rhenus International Sales team and other Rhenus Business Units to maximise all opportunities within the Group. Ensuring that the CRM pipeline reports are maintained and reported back to the Business Development Director on a weekly basis. Researching Customer background and objectives carefully and making appropriate presentations that illustrate our knowledge of their needs Attending Trade shows, conferences and networking events Working in conjunction with the Marketing Department to actively promote Rhenus via various social media and other channels, including providing input to blogs and press releases. Identifying continuous improvement opportunities which add value to Customers or reduce costs Accountable for ensuring any new initiatives or projects are implemented and achieved in accordance within the business working practices. Working with Business Development Director to achieve sales & marketing budget. Researching key decision makers/ influencers in target prospects to enable contact from telemarketing team – developing a database of contacts and knowledge. Receive, assess and filter enquiries from potential clients. RFQ/tender process management Collation of marketing material for clients and managing/follow up with stakeholders in business to ensure RFQ/tender and pricing requests are completed in time for deadlines. Drafting contracts from templates with input from Business Development Director Support of client meetings/ visitors to all sites including notice to key stakeholders for preparation for client visits if required.
