Maintenance Engineer
Salary - £44,500 (Plenty of overtime available) + Annual pay rise + Bonus
Shifts - DAYS Only - Monday to Friday
Location - Mainly working out of Hartlepool - Local site to cover
Benefit: Company Van, Bonus, Annual pay rise, Paid door to door

A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Maintenance Engineer to work for a leading recycling and waste management company. They need someone to join their team and continue the growth within the business helping them to tackle reducing waste. The business is very cash rich and now on a journey to modernise their maintenance function. They are looking for someone to help drive the improvement of the sites locally as well as covering the whole of the UK with over 70 sites! The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Confidently fault finding on mechanical components such as hydraulic power pack units, conveyors, bearings, shafts, pulleys, gearboxes, etc.
2. Basic electrical work - Fault finding and running cables.
3. Working on shredders, sheers, presses, magnetic cranes, mobile plant equipment.
4. Performing routine PPM checks, reactive maintenance, continuous improvement, etc.
5. Calibrating equipment to ensure its accuracy.
About You
The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have the following:
1. A recognised mechanical/engineering qualification.
2. Experience with, or a flexible mindset for, working with heavy machinery.
3. An open attitude to working in any type of environment.
4. Any type of welding experience is beneficial, though not essential.
