What we're looking for
As part of this role, our customers rely on our engineering expertise and solution:oriented approach to mitigate risks, ensuring they can operate efficiently and safely in the most challenging environments. As part of a dedicated team of skilled Surveyors, you will independently visit client sites, primarily within Northeast England.
Using your education, experience, and expertise, you will survey and certify Marine and Offshore assets in compliance with relevant rules, regulations, and standards. This includes inspecting, evaluating, and certifying installations, components, repairs, and products, whether they are newly installed or in service.

Contribute day:to:day specialist knowledge and assess complex problems : finding a range of alternative solutions.

Prepare, conduct and report surveys on specific high risk activities

Assess the design, production, in:service aspects of engineering assets for complex and demanding situations

Continue your professional development and maintain discipline, knowledge and awareness and mentor or coach colleagues as appropriate

Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards
What you bring

A Bachelors degree in Engineering or its equivalent
:
Membership of an appropriate professional institution
:
To be working towards or achieving chartered engineering status

To be able to analyse and solve engineering issues using theoretical and practical methods

To give technical and commercial leadership

To be able to work both as part of a team and independently in challenging situations

To be able to manage a diverse range of projects in tandem
