Role Overview As a Trainee Project Technician / Labourer, you will play a key role in assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of specialist swimming pool systems. This is a physically demanding role, ideal for someone who is fit, energetic, and hardworking. While based primarily in Lanarkshire, some travel across Scotland will be required. Key Responsibilities Assist with installations, servicing, and maintenance on various project sites. Support engineers with equipment setup, pipework installation, and system testing. Perform manual labouring tasks, including lifting, carrying, and using hand tools. Work across multiple sites, predominantly in Lanarkshire, with occasional travel throughout Scotland. Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in structured on-the-job training in electrical and plumbing systems. Maintain a clean and organised workspace to support efficient site operations. Skills & Experience Required Previous labouring experience is essential. Physically fit, energetic, and prepared to handle physically demanding tasks. Strong desire to learn and progress into an engineer role. Full UK driving licence and own transport are essential. Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic are key attributes. What We Offer Salary: £24,000 - £25,000, depending on experience. Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. 28 days annual holiday leave. Company pension scheme and life insurance. Sick pay available following the probationary period.
