Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retrofit Project Manager to join our team. The Retrofit Project Manager will play a crucial role in securing and delivering successful energy efficiency & retrofit projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight: Manage the successful delivery of specific decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects, making key project decisions to ensure timely and effective completion.
Program Development: Design and implement project-specific programs, ensuring compliance with timelines and quality standards.
Team Supervision: Provide day-to-day oversight and support for team members involved in project execution.
Strategic Reporting: Regularly update the Construction Director on project progress and suggest strategic enhancements.
Technical Expertise: Offer technical guidance on retrofit initiatives to project teams and identify new energy efficiency opportunities.
Proposal Preparation: Draft and submit proposals for energy efficiency solutions within set deadlines.
Sector Engagement: Maintain broad knowledge in decarbonisation by participating in relevant courses, workshops, and seminars.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with supply chain partners, construction, compliance and submission teams to ensure effective delivery of projects.
Data Analysis: Review housing stock data to uncover potential areas for energy efficiency improvement.
Client Interaction: Foster professional relationships with clients, consultants, and residents to support project success and future business opportunities.
Health & Safety: Adhere to IZ Energy health and safety protocols in all project activities.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Professional qualification in PAS2035 Retrofit Coordination or Assessment
Proven experience in the delivery of the energy efficiency / retrofit works.
Comprehensive understanding of the domestic energy efficiency market, including relevant technologies and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, flexible, and passionate about energy efficiency and decarbonisation
Team player with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
