What this role is about: As a Product Manager at Airbox, you will collaborate closely with other Product Managers and report to our Lead Product Manager. Your role will be key in advancing our Airbox products, delighting our current customers and expanding our user base. You will be the driving force in a cross-functional Agile Scrum product team, utilising your product expertise to deliver and upkeep native and web apps that offer innovative solutions that are trusted by law enforcement, military, special forces, search & rescue, fire and medical emergency services, making a positive impact on real-life scenarios daily. What you’ll do: Collaborate with the Product Lead to devise the overall delivery plan based on our strategic roadmap Conduct regular user interviews and test feature concepts to deeply understand and address user needs. Serve as a product expert, product evangelist, and the voice of the customer. Help maintain the backlog, and make key prioritization decisions. Integrate strong and clear analysis and business rationale into decision-making. Drive a collaborative cross-functional Agile product team consisting of multi-skilled Architects, Developers, and QA. This involves creating epics, stories, and refining tickets with your team based on objectives. Proactively eliminate obstacles and enhance processes. Participate in team Scrum stand-ups, planning meetings, refinement, and retrospectives. Take a leading role and responsibility in implementing comprehensive functional development from discovery through to delivery. Define key metrics for release success and create analytics through setting up reports/dashboards to measure progress. Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a portion of the Airbox product domain. Act as the liaison among departments to establish a shared understanding by translating ideas and concepts into technical or layman’s terms. Develop and maintain product documentation and guides. Identify product gaps and generate new product ideas. Manage multiple stakeholders and dependencies. What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate: All of our colleagues have to pass an NPPV3 clearance; you can find out more about it here but a key feature is having the last 3 years living in the United Kingdom. Be eligible for work in the UK; we are unable to offer sponsorship. Proven expertise in software product management, collaborating with diverse development teams. Track record of successfully guiding features from concept to launch. Proficiency in Agile Scrum software development practices and Lean methodologies. Experience in product discovery, solution design, and delivery. Ability to lead critical work areas independently. Strong communication and collaboration skills, including engagement with senior internal and external business executives with demonstrated ability to influence outcomes. Utilization of research, experimentation, and analytics for decision-making. Previous collaboration with departments like research, legal, compliance, accounts, sales or marketing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Capability to motivate and lead teams effectively without direct authority, providing hands-on leadership. Proactive approach in defining and managing workload. Experience in a user-centric environment with technical proficiency. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Positive and proactive attitude, willing to take on responsibilities.
