What You Will Do: As a HEOR intern, your day-to-day activities may include: Conducting literature searches and reviews to gather information related to health economics, patient outcomes, and treatment effectiveness. Assisting with the planning and execution of research studies that evaluate the economic impact of healthcare interventions and assess health-related quality of life measures. Analysing data from clinical trials and real-world studies to identify trends related to cost-effectiveness and patient-centred outcomes. Supporting the preparation of reports, presentations, and summaries that communicate research findings to both internal and external audiences. Collaborating with team members from different departments to collect data and insights for health economic analyses and value assessments. Reviewing existing research studies and helping to design new studies that focus on patient outcomes. Assisting in the organisation and maintenance of databases used to track research activities and results. Participating in team meetings and sharing ideas for enhancing research practices and workflows. Who You Are: We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in the sciences (e.g. public health, psychology, pharmacy, or a related field), with a genuine interest in patient-centred research and health outcomes. Able to work independently on assigned tasks while also collaborating effectively with the HEOR team during meetings and projects. Familiar with basic research methods and data analysis concepts; any experience with statistical software (e.g., Excel, SPSS) is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with the ability to create clear and engaging documents and presentations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain information in a straightforward manner. Detail-oriented with good analytical skills, and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving. Capable of setting clear goals, managing time efficiently, and working well within a team environment.
