NXT Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for a Risk & Compliance Manager on behalf of our client for this role.
The ideal candidate will join the regional management team. You will provide strong leadership and expertise to ensure the successful delivery of security (physical and product), risk management, and compliance frameworks, all in alignment with stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to developing and executing the EMEA region strategy; lead functional plan delivery. Ensure the region meets KPIs and manage the budget.
* Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, Commercial, and other functions to adhere to policies and frameworks.
* Support business development activities across the EMEA region.
* Lead improvements in risk management, security, and compliance.
* Implement site-specific security measures using a security zone approach.
* Manage security risk initiatives and facilitate risk assessments.
* Provide governance and compliance reports; lead GROM reports.
* Review and develop policies for risk, compliance, security, and ethics.
* Ensure compliance and deliver training on risk, control, and ethics.
* Lead accreditation and audit preparations; monitor legal compliance.
* Promote a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
* Oversee performance management and ensure clarity on targets for direct reports.
* Support direct reports’ growth and alignment with business goals.
* Ensure clear communication of business vision and strategies.
* Lead the OHSE function to support strategic goals and ensure safety is embedded in the culture.
* Lead the IT function to ensure uninterrupted services and compliance with security requirements.
Skills and Experience:
* Proven leadership skills with a track record of driving high-performance teams in a manufacturing environment.
* Extensive experience in operational management with a focus on risk management and security.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, effectively engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
* Expertise in developing and executing strategic plans that align with organizational goals.
* In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
* Ability to manage and deliver on KPIs, budgets, and performance targets, ensuring the achievement of organizational objectives.
* Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and developing others to drive team success and individual growth.
* Experience in implementing and maintaining risk management frameworks and compliance systems across regions.
* Strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards, with a commitment to zero harm and promoting a safety-first culture.
* Ability to adapt and respond to emerging risks, ensuring robust security measures are in place to protect physical and product security.
