An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the the Homeless Centre Team, providing support accommodation to vulnerable families who are homeless. The core work of the Team is ensuring that families are provided with the relevant support to assist them in securing permanent accommodation, ensuring residents adhere to the term and conditions on their licence agreements and ensuring the buildings meet and maintain health and safety standards. We are looking for someone that has general maintenance and decorating skills and is able to provide a responsive customer focused building support service within one of our homeless centres. The role will involve carrying out minor repairs, general maintenance and decorating and you will be expected to plan and carry out weekly/monthly safety checks.
