Job Description: As a Maths Teacher at Heston Commuinty School, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4 students. You will play a key role in developing students' understanding, skills, and love for mathematics, while also preparing them for exams and ensuring they reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners. Assess and monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking. Prepare students for internal and external exams, ensuring they achieve their best results. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum. Maintain effective communication with colleagues, students, and parents. Support the pastoral care of students and contribute to their personal development. Qualifications and Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Mathematics or a related subject. Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum at [Key Stage/GCSE/A-Level] level. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students. Experience in using a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
