The Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving process optimisation and enhancing operational efficiency at Compare the Market. This position is key to enabling transformative changes across the organisation, ensuring that business processes and operational workflows are continuously aligned with evolving business strategies and technological advancements.
As a trusted advisor and change agent, the Business Analyst will collaborate closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including business units, technical teams, third-party vendors, and departments such as compliance, risk, and legal. In addition to expected Business Analyst activities such as gathering and refining requirements, capturing and collaborating on current and end state processes and operating models, the role also requires a holistic approach to delivery management and the design of strategic, long-term change management initiatives.
The Business Analyst will champion continuous improvement, promote best practices, and play an integral part in ensuring the successful execution of projects that drive the organisation forward.

Some of the great things you'll be doing:
1. Elicit complex, sensitive, or strategic requirements from diverse sources, employing the most appropriate techniques for each situation.
2. Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and system capabilities, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring solutions are effectively integrated and adopted.
3. Provide business analysis and delivery management services throughout the entire system design life cycle.
4. Support the development of business cases to inform strategic decision-making.
5. Design testing strategies that enable both internal and external delivery teams to validate solutions.
6. Create process documentation for current (AS-IS) and future (TO-BE) business processes.
7. Develop product documentation and training plans to facilitate change implementation.
8. Adopt a holistic approach to solution selection, ensuring alignment with company and technology strategies.
9. Facilitate transition to business as usual, supporting teams in adopting new processes with minimal disruption.
10. Benefit analysis to ensure that benefits are realised as expected.
11. Manage and collaborate with third-party suppliers and contractors.
12. Mentor and coach junior colleagues on business analysis methodologies.
13. Promote the development of business analysis skills across Compare the Market and advocate for best practices.
What we'd like to see from you:
1. 5+ years experience in business analysis.
2. Experienced and exposure to project management, full system development life cycle and operational support.
3. Advanced problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
4. Communicate effectively to executive level stakeholders.
5. Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
6. Experienced in dealing with third party suppliers and contractors.
7. Experienced in managing multiple project deliverables at once.
8. Excellent at dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty.
9. Proficient in project management tooling e.g. Atlassian and Miro.
