Here is an opportunity for you here as a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join one of our contracts covering Banbury, Kidlington, Abingdon, and Wokingham. We are looking for someone who is also electrically qualified.
Hours of Work
* Monday – Friday, 8.00am-5.00pm
The Role
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment
* Carrying out reactive and emergency breakdown tasks allocated
* Carrying out inspections, fault finding and diagnosis
* To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated the electrical aspects of the PPM and plant.
* To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all electrically related reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.
* To co-ordinate initial actions associated with all requests from the client.
* •To assist in co-ordinating visiting specialist sub-contractors associated with electrical aspects of the PPM schedules.
* To respond to call outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with the electrical services aspects of the contract as required.
* Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels
* Completing job sheets electronically on a Tablet or Smartphone
* Maintaining site based records and log books
* Carrying out general cleaning and housekeeping to maximise life expectancy of all equipment
* Proactively working to reduce energy consumption on client sites and recommending improvements
* Working to all health, safety, compliance and local policies and procedures
* Maintaining excellent relationships with our customers – face to face, telephone and email
Qualifications and Experience Required
Essential
· City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent.
· 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognised equivalent; or
· Health and Safety Training.
· Experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis, rectification.
· Experience in the Electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules
· Experienced in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection
· Experienced in High Voltage switching
· Good Mechanical experience/knowledge
· C&G in a Mechanical discipline or recognised equivalent (ie NVQ).
· Good knowledge of AHU’s, FCU’s, AC systems, Pumps, Motors, Pipework, Plumbing and Drainage systems
· A good understanding of Critical Systems and Non-Critical systems.
Desirable
· City & Guilds Part 3 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent
· Electrical Apprenticeship – gained within the building maintenance industry
· Experience in computer PPM management systems
· Experience with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) • Supervisory experience for future development
