David Aaron Ltd is a renowned gallery in Mayfair, London, specialising in Classical Greek and Roman, Egyptian, Near Eastern, and Islamic works of art, as well as important items of natural history. The gallery has facilitated the creation of celebrated private collections and collaborated with major museums worldwide.
Role Description
This is an on-site role, for a PR & marketing manager at David Aaron, based on Berkeley Square, Mayfair, London, W1. We are seeking a creative and driven individual to join a busy gallery environment, this role can be full-time or part-time depending on requirements and candidate experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing engaging content across various social media platforms and digital channels to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and foster community engagement of the company and founder. The right person will have exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and a personable manner.
The PR & marketing manager will be responsible for market planning, marketing management, market research, sales, and public relations within the gallery, with the ability to secure valuable journalistic interest from various credible media outlets including The Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, The Times, BBC and The Independent.
The main long-term objectives will be to:
Increase Media Exposure and define the company as a brand.
Work with the directors to define the strategies and steps needed to achieve objectives and help secure high-value press coverage globally.
Establish the David Aaron Brand:
Drive brand recognition through strategic media relations, targeted advertising and partnerships, positioning David Aaron as the leading premium gallery for natural history collectors.
Generate Targeted Promotion Opportunities:
Promote the gallery’s focus on research and ethics to increase interest in the field and support business growth.
Enhance Credibility with Thought Leadership:
Establish David Aaron as a thought leader in the industry by developing a tailored strategy through a bespoke engagement strategy, partnerships, and participation at third-party events and publications with educational and research institutions.
Foster Relationships with UHNI and Key Institutions:
Build strong connections with ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNI) and cultural institutions to strengthen David Aaron's position in the global art and fossil community, supporting the gallery’s market strategy and business development and building relationships with potential buyers.
Qualifications
* Market Planning, Marketing Management, and Market Research experience
* Sales and Public Relations experience
* Excellent leadership and strategic planning abilities
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in the art or luxury goods industry is a plus
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
