Job summary We are seeking a physiotherapist to join our well-established and dynamic physiotherapy service, working across Watford General Hospital, St Albans City Hospital, and the West Hertfordshire Therapy Unit at Jacketts Field, Abbots Langley. This role is suitable for an experienced Band 5 physiotherapist looking to progress or an existing Band 6 wishing to further develop their skills through our rotational post. Our Band 6 rotational scheme provides experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, offering opportunities to build expertise across a range of clinical areas. Rotations, typically lasting six months, include: Emergency Department/Acute Assessment UnitFrailtyCare of the ElderlyRespiratory, including ITUGeneral MedicineSurgical, including outpatient AmputeesAcute Stroke UnitOrthopaedics - trauma and elective (cross-site working)MSK. Each rotation is supported by experienced senior staff who provide guidance and ensure high standards of care. In-service training opportunities are available, and the role includes supervision of Band 5 physiotherapists, assistants, and undergraduate students. Additionally, there are senior leadership development opportunities and a structured in-service training programme. External course funding may also be available through the department's collaboration with the University of Hertfordshire. The post holder will join a growing integrated team of OT's and Physio's and will have the opportunity to develop both their clinical and supervisory skills.
