We are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join a Global Procurement Sourcing Function for a leading UK bank. Where you will be working on a hybrid basis from their office in Northampton.
As Sourcing Manager, you will work within a team who are directly responsible for managing commercial deals more than £2b annually. You will work collaboratively and strategically with a range of teams in procurement, legal, SME functions, and with external suppliers. With this collaboration you will be working to deliver quality products and services whilst minimising risk and cost to our client.
What you’ll be doing as a Sourcing Manager:
* Responsible for shaping and executing deals across the category.
* Sourcing non-IT services for the bank with particular emphasis on HR and Business Process Outsourcing categories.
* Supporting the category manager and independently leading projects with the businesses and functions across the bank.
* Accountable for end-to-end delivery of deals primarily aligned to the sub-category.
* Managing end-to-end events including RFX, auctions, and commercial negotiations with relevant suppliers where appropriate.
* Working in conjunction with the Legal support teams to ensure excellent and favourable commercial terms.
* Ensuring that all relevant documentation is inputted to the deal and contract management systems, and that it is compliant with business and internal procurement policy requirements.
* Leading a cross functional team within the teams to deliver complex deals or a portfolio of deals.
* Delivering, managing and in some cases, leading team members to deliver end to end activity from requirements scoping, sourcing strategy development, eRFX, Negotiations.
What we’d like to see from your application:
* Strategic sourcing experience in HR or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
* Academic degree and qualifications in CIPS or CPM/CPSM/ISM.
* Understanding of various commercial value drivers and knowledge of best procurement industry practices.
* Confidence negotiating supplier contract terms and conditions.
* Excellent communication skills both written, verbal and able to present to senior management.
* Strong networking and senior stakeholder management skills.
It is preferred that the successful candidate will have experience in but not limited to:
* Non-IT Management Consulting
* Non-IT Resource Augmentation
* IT Consulting
* IT Resource Augmentation
* Collections & Recoveries
* Audit (Stat/Non-Stat)
Hours: 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday. 9am to 5pm.
Location: Northampton – 3 days a week in office and 2 from home once through accreditation.
Contract: 6-month contract with possibility to extend.
