You will be a key part of the supportive purchasing team responsible for sourcing and purchasing of parts for production.

Key responsibilities of the successful Buyer:
1. Source electronic components at the agreed budgeted costs
2. Sourcing and purchasing electronic components
3. Managing inventory levels and developing/maintaining excellent relationships with our suppliers
4. Manage day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring that orders are placed in a timely manner, in line with a budget and demand
5. Delivering cost savings and achieving departmental/company KPIs
6. Customer contract reviews
7. Risk reporting
8. Ensure goods in queries and invoice queries are resolved in a timely fashion
Essentials to be considered for this Buyer role:
1. Strong commercial background with experience in working in a busy Purchasing department
2. Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
3. Experience as a buyer within the electrical/electronics industry is essential
4. CIPS qualified or working towards would also be advantageous
5. Excellent software knowledge including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
