Join a friendly, supportive, fabulous team as an assistant and carer for a highly successful, disabled female creative leader and charity CEO!
Perfect both for experienced carers and people new to the field, with full training provided. Unlike other care jobs, you're not working with multiple people or in a residential environment, but with me in my own home supporting me to live my life alongside me, 24 hours a day.
In this role, you will work alongside a creative leader, working as my arms and legs, enabling me to lead my successful independent life. Whether you're providing personal and medical care, assisting me on stage, at conferences and events, or travelling internationally, you're vital to my freedom, independence, and quality of life.
I'm seeking adaptable, enthusiastic problem-solvers who are queer-friendly, love dogs (as I expect to get one in the next 6 months), and have the ability to drive in London. No prior care experience is required; I welcome people from diverse backgrounds and career paths and will provide extensive training.
In this unique, changeable and dynamic care role, you're there to support me to lead the life I want, assisting in all aspects of daily living, from intimate personal and medical care to managing medications and my wider life.
The current shift patterns likely to be available are either:
1. 24.5 hours from Thursday morning at 07:00 to Friday morning at 07:30, followed by being on-call until Saturday morning at 07:30 if the person working on Friday is off sick.
2. 24.5 hours from Saturday morning at 07:00 to Sunday morning at 07:30, followed by being on-call until Monday morning at 07:30 if the person working on Sunday is off sick.
Take this opportunity to impact a remarkable life, participate in creative projects, and travel across the UK and Europe. Apply now and become part of an extraordinary team!
