We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, dynamic Cost Manager who will be part of the PMO team and support the delivery of accurate and timely project information relating to performance against the project baseline.

You'll:
1. Drive the cost performance monitoring and reporting for the Programme including trend and EV analysis associated with key commitments and expenditures.
2. Have responsibility for the collation and analysis of Programme Cost Information in accordance with the Cost Management Policy and Procedures.
3. Manage contract change effectively, ensuring that projects remain within governance and adopt best practice.
4. Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.
5. Assure and review Contractor Cost submissions, with the ability to challenge information where required to ensure realistic project updates.
About You
Essential:
1. Ability to communicate cost and performance information to peers/managers.
2. Good attention to detail and skilled in interpreting and analysing cost data.
3. Experience of identifying, analysing, and solving problems.
4. Strong understanding/working knowledge of Earned Value Methodologies.
5. Experienced in working within Project Controls in a Major Programme environment.
6. Strong understanding/working knowledge of Cost engineering/forecasting tools (such as PRISM/EcoSys/Cobra).
Desirable skill:
1. Knowledge of engineering, procurement, forms of contracts and construction generally.
2. Knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialised instruction or practical experience.
3. Knowledge of risk/schedule functions and understanding of interface with cost.
4. Educated to professional standard and membership of an appropriate body and to degree level or equivalent.
