The Role
The BACS Administrator will support the BACS Manager in the Administration of the BACS Process for Azets, Blick Rothenberg and new acquisitions. The BACS function is a vital part of the business that needs to be run efficiently whilst complying with regulations and procedures. The key activity is to ensure that all BACS payment files are sent on time while supporting the BACS function for the Azets and Blick Rothenberg payroll teams.
Day to day duties
1. Accurate and timely processing of daily BACS files to agreed deadlines
2. Responsible for all Administration connected to BACS
3. To maintain the clients linked to the Bureau and request lost clients are unlinked
4. To set up and maintain service users on BACS software
5. To provide 1st line of support for payroll teams with BACS related queries
6. Assist management in maintaining and developing internal procedures, checklists and guidance notes.
7. Produce, analyse, and maintain BACS reports and statistics.
8. Ensure that all reasonable requests received from internal and external clients are carried out in a complete, accurate and timely manner and that internal clients are kept informed of work progress and status where necessary.
