A Newcastle Secondary school requires a pastoral manager from October 2024 until at least December 2024. There is a strong possibility that the role will be extended to July 2025, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
The successful pastoral manager will work to support the learning and welfare of potentially vulnerable students and those close to a suspension from the main school. They will manage the school's behaviour support unit and ensure pupils are meaningfully occupied when placed there.
This large and diverse secondary school is located close to the A1 and is easily commutable from Newcastle city centre via public transport.
