If so, we have just the opportunity for you… This role is for our Aelia Duty Free store situated in the departure lounge of Belfast International Airport; we are currently looking for an experienced, enthusiastic leader to join the team. Not only do you need a passion for retail, but you must also be able to deliver a great customer experience through being resourceful and responsive to the changing needs of the business and team members. The Supervisor is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high standard of customer service, and overseeing all the staff. You will assist with staff training, service quality, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. You will also step in to manage operations in the absence of the General Manager or Deputy Manager. Hours: 37.5 hours, over 5 days on a rolling shift pattern Benefits: 10% bonus opportunity, Retail Trust, life insurance, on-site parking, up tp 25% store discounts and uniform Key responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service. - Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. - Ensure food is prepared and presented to high-quality standards. - Maintain kitchen inventory, order supplies, and manage stock levels to minimize waste. - Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations. - Assist in training and mentoring staff to meet service standards. - Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and properly set up for service. - Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. - Maintain Brand food quality, quick service and cleanliness standards. - Maintain HACCP policies for all restaurant activities across shifts. - Assist in maintaining inventory levels and placing orders when necessary. - Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance service quality. - Support the management team with daily tasks, including scheduling and reporting. Skills & Experience - Previous experience in a supervisory or similar role in the hospitality industry. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and safety standards. - Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. - Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
