Finance Administrator
Place of work: Coventry with travel to Derby. Ability to work from home 1 day a week.

Hallmark Engineering Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Administrator to support the smooth operation of our financial processes. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of daily financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and assisting with reporting and compliance. This role would suit an AAT studier looking to gain more experience.
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable:
1. Enter invoices into the system accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Manage expenses, ensuring proper categorisation and adherence to company policies.
3. Send statements and remittances to suppliers.
4. Address and resolve supplier queries efficiently.
Accounts Receivable:
1. Generate and issue invoices to customers.
2. Coordinate approval processes for invoices.
3. Upload invoices to Xero accounting software.
4. Conduct basic credit control activities.
5. Handle customer queries in a professional and timely manner.
Reconciliations:
1. Perform reconciliations of financial data as required.
2. Demonstrate a basic understanding of accruals, prepayments, and journals.
Administrative Tasks:
1. Maintain organised and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
2. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Assist with ad-hoc finance tasks as needed.
Who We Are Looking For:
1. This role would suit an AAT studier.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
3. Experience with Xero accounting software is advantageous.
4. Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
5. Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
6. Enrolled in or pursuing studies in finance or accounting.
7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
