What you will be doing:
1. Overseeing all New Product Implementation processes ensuring a robust process and system is in place to get things right first time.
2. Being responsible for all ECN.
3. Collaborating with the design team on new projects.
4. Communicating across all departments to ensure optimisation of manufacturing processes.
5. Ensuring technical support and troubleshooting for any production issues, closing out any issues successfully.
6. Developing processes to capture production issues that can be addressed through design/engineering.
7. Providing guidance and suggesting solutions on techniques and equipment to improve production efficiency.
8. Managing the test function and ensuring a robust testing service is in place for new and existing products.
9. Implementing Lean and Continuous Improvement processes within defined areas.
What you will need:
1. Experience in electronics manufacturing.
2. Technical knowledge of a variety of processes including SMT, AOI, etc.
3. Experience of NPI processes.
4. A relevant electrical or electronic qualification is desirable (minimum HNC).
5. Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement tools and techniques.
What you will receive:
A salary of £45,000-£55,000 (dependent on experience) + pension, cash plan healthcare, etc.
The working hours:
Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-12:30pm on a Friday. The company do offer some flexibility around this to start and finish a little earlier or later if it suits the person.
