We are looking for a keen, enthusiastic registered nurse to join our team as a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse.

Working in stroke care is rewarding and is a fast-paced area delivering hyper-acute stroke care. Pasteur Ward is a 28-bed hyper-acute stroke unit that provides specialist treatment and care for patients immediately following a stroke, allowing staff to deliver immediate hyper-acute care for the first 72 hours post-stroke.
Main duties of the job
You will provide high standards of evidence-based patient-centered stroke care and will assist in leading the nursing team to maintain the efficient running of the ward. You will also deputise in the absence of the Senior Sister on an acute Stroke Unit.
You will facilitate the daily running of the acute stroke unit whilst maintaining patient safety and effective flow.
Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Governance systems in the ward/department relating to Risk Management, Health and Safety, and Controls Assurance.
Promote and develop the use of evidence-based practice to improve the outcomes of patient care within the acute stroke pathway. Ensure all Trust Visions of care standards are adhered to.

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 a year (Per Annum, Pro Rata for Part Time)
