Job Description
This role sits with one of Daisy Communications brands - XLN for Small Business
Salary: £23,000 Plus realistic OTC of £300 up to £1000 per month for our top salespeople!
Location: Sheffield
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:30 (37.5 hours)
Key responsibilities:
* Conduct inbound and outbound sales calls with businesses, selling our products and services to B2B customers based on client needs.
* Develop and nurture relationships with UK based SMEs to drive sales from initial contact to closing. You may be required to move between sales campaigns or sell additional products.
* Proactively identify and qualify potential customers to build a robust sales pipeline.
* Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets while adhering to established strategies, call KPIs, and performance metrics.
* Leverage CRM systems to effectively manage sales opportunities, track customer interactions, and maximize sales potential.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
* Work closely with the sales support/operations team to ensure a seamless customer journey from sales to fulfilment.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to effectively position products and services.
* Accurately track and report on sales activities, performance metrics, and account information.
* Adhere to company policies, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
* Resolve queries within industry/department lead timescale.
* Be vigilant for possible fraudulent activity and if necessary raise a security incident report using the template accessible via the corporate Intranet.
* Periodically review Daisy Security Policies – centrally hosted on the Intranet - to ensure full compliance with current legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
Qualifications:
* Previous sales experience is desirable, ideally in Telecommunications, energy, or merchant services.
* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport and understand client needs.
* Negotiation/objection handling skills.
* Highly motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative.
* Hardworking with a ‘can do’ attitude.
* Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical products in a simple, effective manner.
* Competency in using CRM systems and MS Office is highly desirable.
* Self-confident with the ability to overcome objections.
* Demonstrate a positive attitude at all times.
* Goal oriented.
