Job summary To support the co-ordination of the administration arrangements to provide a high quality supportive secretarial service to the General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Head of Nursing and Clinical Director. To work independently and be accountable for organising/prioritising own workload to ensure deadlines are achieved. Manages own workload. To support the Directorate General Manager, Head of Nursing and wider senior management team with the Directorate of Medicine and to provide efficient, accurate, and prompt secretarial support. Exceptional organisational and leadership skills, excellent judgement, diplomacy, and tact are essential attributes for this post. Main duties of the job The post holder will be a key member of the Directorate team providing an accurate and confidential administration service to the Directorate and its associated work streams. The post holder will support the Directorate Management Team (DMT) and other health professionals with the creation of best practice and processes, supporting diary management, workload and co-ordination of appointments and admissions related information for patients and carers.
