About the Installation Planner Role
Working as part of a small Installations team, the role will take responsibility for coordinating the installation of equipment on customer sites throughout the UK. Liaising with customers, suppliers and colleagues, you will ensure that installations are completed on time to the highest standards.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Coordinate external installation teams to ensure that products are professionally installed, tested and maintained.
2. Liaising daily with customers to ensure any issues are effectively addressed in a timely manner.
3. Scheduling of projects using specialist software/ERP system.
4. Attending daily meetings with Production to monitor schedule adherence.
5. Communicating with Project Teams to resolve scheduling conflicts, lead-time concerns and addressing changing priorities.
6. Providing status updates to all relevant parties.
About You
As Installation Planner, you will have previous experience of working in a fast-paced planning role within a similar environment. You should be capable of managing a reactive workload, with strong problem-solving skills.
Other requirements for the Installation Manager include:
1. Strong knowledge of ERP systems along with MS Office packages, specifically Excel.
2. Demonstrable experience in planning and data analysis.
3. Solid prioritisation and organisation skills.
4. Able to work in a fast-paced role responding to changing priorities.
5. Logical, fact-based approach to troubleshooting & problem solving.
6. Capable of building strong working relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal colleagues.
7. Knowledge of installation and maintenance processes.
