Digital Forensic Analyst - Permanent - West Midlands - Up to £30,000 Per Annum Benefits We are looking for a Digital Forensic Analyst to conduct forensic examinations of digital devices (e.g., computers, mobile phones) to acquire and process evidential data and produce factual reports. Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the role and our work, applicants will be required to be DBS checked and also NPPV-3, SC Cleared, National Crime Agency and Metropolitan Police security vetted. Key Responsibilities: Case management and forensic analysis of computer and mobile devices. Securing and preservation of digital evidence. Procedure and documentation development. Contribute to achieving and maintaining quality standards (ISO 17025 and 9001) To keep up to date with digital forensics technology changes Continue to develop own knowledge and regularly attend CPD events. Essential Skills & Experience: Excellent understanding of digital technology. A relevant Degree in digital forensics. An excellent command of the English language both written and oral. Fully conversant with the digital forensic process and current ACPO Guidelines. Adhere to and be fully conversant with the FSR’s Codes of Practice and Conduct. Accurate and precise. Experience working in an accredited digital forensics laboratory. Or use of forensic tools including AXIOM, EnCase, Griffeye and X-Ways would de desirable but not a necessity.
