A vacancy has arisen within RWG Advanced Remanufacturing Business for a Metal Polishing/Blending Operator. The successful candidate will be based at Dyce, Aberdeen and will report to the Department Supervisor. The primary responsibility will be the preparation, operation and assistance of repair processes for the repair and overhaul of Oil and Gas Derivative Gas Generator components.

An overview of your day
* Carry out dressing and re-profiling of engine components within the required specifications.
* Carry out surface preparation/overspray removal on engine components within the required specifications.
* Ensure correct procedures and documentation are used at all times.
* Maintain good housekeeping in work areas and perform other related or comparable duties as assigned.
* Communicate effectively within the department and provide support and assistance to other staff where appropriate.
* Undertake other duties as reasonably required.
What we need from you
* Previous hand tool experience.
* Ability to follow written instructions.
* Understand technical drawings and specifications.
* Good organisational, planning, communication and influencing skills.
* Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Desirable but not essential:
* Knowledge of Blending/Metal Polishing & Fettling.
* Competent using measuring equipment.
