We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Salaried GP to join a dynamic team in Darlington. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities:
• Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosing and treating a range of medical conditions, conducting routine check-ups, and managing chronic illnesses.
• Consultations: Conduct patient consultations, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Prescriptions: Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary, and monitor patient responses to treatments.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using the practice's electronic health record system.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, healthcare assistants, and specialists, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Health Promotion: Provide health education and advice to patients on lifestyle changes, disease prevention, and health management.
• Clinical Governance: Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and adhere to practice protocols and guidelines.
• Continuing Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Medical Degree: MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Registration: Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a license to practice.
• Experience: Previous experience in a GP role or within a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Skills: Excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a patient-focused approach.
