Activity Leader - Job Overview
You'll be responsible for energetically leading our international students in a programme of on site activities and off site excursions, planning and preparing for sessions and helping to supervise throughout the day.
You'll be the glue that keeps the centre running; helping out where needed and being someone who the students can look up to and bringing energy and a smile to everything you do, following our core values - Care, Honesty, Energy, Empathy, Respect, and Smiles (CHEERS!).
Activities
You'll run a variety of onsite activities at the prestigious schools that host our camps - Disco, Jewellery Making, Dusemond World Cup, Slime Making, Karaoke and Just Dance and many more!
You’ll be expected to:
* Set up necessary equipment and run activities safely
* Energetically lead the activity and keeping everyone involved
* Bring the “fun” to the sessions you run!
* Occasionally make a fool of yourself - you might need to start the dancing at the disco!
* Some activities will be outside your skill set. The important thing is to always have energy and enthusiasm!
* Work cl osely as a team with the other activity staff
* Always be “switched on” and engaging with the students whenever you’re in uniform!
Excursions
2-3 times a week there’ll be an excursion. You’ll lead groups on fun trips to various locations and in doing so you’ll be involved with:
* Executing our guided tours
* Doing some planning in advance - you shouldn't be looking at Google maps during the trip!
* Keeping the students engaged and excited at all times
* Working with our client - the students' Group Leader - and making sure they're satisfied with how the day is going
* Getting groups to any entrances on time and managing any tickets
* Getting everyone back to the coach and home in one piece!
Job Details
* Full Board - Accommodation and meals provided throughout your contract
* Salary, including holiday pay - New AL, under 21- £450* per week, New AL, over 21 - £570.00* per week, Returning bonus £50 per week
* Travel Allowance - £30 one off payment to help towards the cost of travel to and from the centre.
* Working Hours - Up to 48 hours per week based on 6 working days.
* Available Contract Dates - Temporary - March, April, July 2025
* Pre-joining training dates - Staff are required to attend 2 x paid training days in advance of joining any programme.

Your Eligibility
You must
* be over 18 years of age
* be eligible to work in the UK
* get an enhanced DBS check**
* speak Engligh fluently
You should
* be able to manage a crowd
* be an energetic team player
* be responsible and proactive
It's a plus if
* your a first aider
* you have a special skill or talent
* you've done this before!
