Description Traffic Operator – Fulltime Based on a traffic desk in the Transport Office in Coventry. Main duties will include allocation of work and de-briefing all drivers on return. Identifying and managing infringements analysing drivers print-offs, monitoring completion of delivery paperwork, managing communication and escalation of issues. Fixed Pattern working – 4 on 4 off nights shift pattern Working hours is 48 hrs per week. Salary £29,696.41 plus £457.60 responsibility payment and £416 shift premium allowance per year How will you contribute? Allocate work to all drivers creating plans and collating resource ahead of schedule De-brief drivers on a daily basis completing all necessary legal checks Pre-briefings with drivers before shifts going through safety briefs and areas of focus Completion of daily trailer trackers managing driver hours and utilisation Manage infringements. Monitor and manage driver start and depart times and notifying stores on any late deliveries Complete vehicle accident reports / Commence Investigations. To ensure daily communication of all delivery shortages/overs and report on the tracker To ensure Volvo Connect is managed and updated. Various entries into spreadsheets for weekly communications to the customer To administrate daily service improvement feedback sheets To complete vehicle inspections for general hygiene and downloading FFC and Tachographs when required To ensure all issues are escalated to the Senior Traffic Operators /Transport Operations Managers as and when required. General office duties in keep working areas tidy and paperwork management. Manage Transend allocating work on scanners. PPE and uniform management What will you bring?
