The role
We are looking for an experienced administrator who has a good eye for detail and who is at ease working with data. You’ll be responsible for providing administrative support across the People Team. You’ll produce accurate information to inform the monthly payroll including the preparation of data relating to overtime, holidays, sickness absence etc. You will also input, monitor and produce People related data and provide accurate and timely information within requisite timelines.
Job requirements:
* Accurately collate data and information from a number of sources in order to inform the monthly salary memos.
* Liaise with the People Officers, Payroll Specialist, and Managers across the organisation to ensure that payroll information is received in a timely manner.
* Accurately maintain data sources.
* Support on recruitment campaigns.
* Process and monitor all new starter paperwork.
* Proactively manage the People mailbox by co-ordinating queries that are received, and actioning / signposting as appropriate.
* Generate reports from both the L&D platform and People system.
* Update the L&D platform and People system.
What we’re looking for:
* Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) including English and Maths or qualified by relevant experience
* A qualification in business / administration or Certificate in Personnel Practice
* Experience of working in a busy administrative function, preferably within a People Team
* Excellent communication skills with proven experience of liaising with staff and customers at all levels
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and demands
* Attention to detail
* Good organisational and time management skills
