We are looking for an Inspection Supervisor to join our Christchurch, Dorset team!
As an Inspection Supervisor for our Sensors facility, you will manage the throughput of parts within the Inspection Department for production needs, engineering expectations, and various investigations including MSA & Statistical Analysis studies as required, along with the day-to-day running of the Inspection Department.

Your Responsibilities
1. Manage a team of 6 inspectors, ensuring they are working to the best of their ability.
2. Hold regular One 2 Ones with each team member, offering constructive feedback.
3. Manage workloads for production needs, engineering needs, and various investigations including MSA & Statistical Analysis studies.
4. Understand 6s and the requirements associated with the process.
5. Use SPC data to improve supplier quality.
6. Manage deliverable expectations of final built units to our customers.
7. Ensure all procedures are adhered to as part of ISO9100/9000 and internal processes.
8. Manage supply chain non-conformances, creating related paperwork for both internal and external failures.
9. Manage First Article Inspection Reports, both supply chain and internal.
10. Raise internal FAIRs, both Sub-Assembly FAIRs and final build customer FAIRs.
11. Be flexible to ensure company targets are met.
What You Bring

2. In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing and an Inspection environment.
3. Confident and assertive when required.
4. Ability to deal with and defuse conflict when necessary.
5. Experience using CMM, Vici, Homel, Keyance, and general inspection equipment.
