We are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join our team of dedicated, hard-working colleagues, who contribute to an established culture of supporting students with additional needs.

Some of the duties and responsibilities are:
* Provide classroom support for students with speech, language and communication, social and emotional difficulties through supporting individual and group work to raise core skills, supporting Personalised Learning Plans and helping students access the national curriculum.
* Assisting students to access the school curriculum and in the use of resources - including IT.
* General support to students in line with Education, Health and Care Plans or planned provision.
* Assisting in the assessment of students’ attainment and with the recording and monitoring of students’ progress.
* Assisting with the supervision of students on school trips/visits.
You will have attained GCSE grade 4 or above (or an equivalent qualification) and ideally, will have experience of working with children or young people in an education setting.

Hours: 31.25 hours per week, Term Time + 5 INSET Days
Grade: Grade B - £22,737 - £23,114p.a. (£17,135 - £17,420p.a. after adjustment for part time hours and weeks)
